From Pastor Chuck:

There are a couple of upcoming musical moments that I hope will bring us some joy.

First, we have special guests in worship this Sunday. Anthem, a student band from Kentucky Mountain Bible College, will bring our worship music. Please come and enjoy a different kind of 11 a.m. service.

We will collect a special love offering after the worship service to help defray Anthem's costs.

We have hired a new music director. Hanna Collins, a 2025 graduate of The University of Virginia's College at Wise, will first be in worship Sunday, Sept. 6. She is a talented young woman, holding a degree in vocal music, and I am confident she's going to become an important part of life at Holston View Methodist. Let's be praying for her.
