This is Pastor Chuck. We've decided to end holding 8:45 a.m. Sunday worship services for the foreseeable future. Our beloved 8:45 a.m. organist, Linda Childress, let me know last Sunday that the process has become too physically difficult for her.

We of course will rejoice in welcoming our 8:45 regulars to our 11 a.m. worship service, which has been growing in numbers and, it seems to me, in energy in recent months. Linda and her husband, James, will continue to be part of our vibrant music program there.

I am excited as we move through Lent, into spring, and toward Easter. Beyond all of that, we have a dynamic Vacation Bible School program in the works for the summer.

Let's continue to gather regularly to praise our beloved savior, Jesus Christ!

This Sunday, I have a special message for you in our 11 a.m. service. It's a little scary at first; I am going to update you on some astonishing changes happening in both our secular and Christian cultures in recent years. But remember, grace prevails!
